An AviClear™ treatment begins with a deep cleansing of the face, then the AviClear™ laser treatment begins. The AviClear™ uses laser energy at 1726 nm wavelength. This targets the oil-producing glands in the skin. Treatment leads to a decrease in oil production from the glands. With less oil to clog the pores, there will be fewer breakouts, and the ones that do occur will be much milder.

Q. How many treatments are needed?

A. Most people will need about 3 separate treatments spaced about 4-6 weeks apart.

Q. What does the treatment feel like?

A. AviClear™ is equipped with a state-of-the-art cooling device that mists cool air on the skin throughout the procedure to keep the patient as comfortable as possible. You may feel some intense heat from the laser that will provide mild discomfort but the cooling device will help to dissipate that as well.
