Evolution is so excited to say that we now offer EmSculpt Neo, the next generation of the classic EmSculpt device. But what is the difference between EmSculpt and EmSculpt Neo?

We’re living through an era of rapid technological advancement. It’s exciting; in a lot of ways, it feels like we’re living in the future. Plus, it’s pretty much guaranteed that any given piece of technology can — and will — be improved as time goes on.

This is particularly true of medical spa devices and technologies. Improving on a piece of tech doesn’t mean the original becomes obsolete (take Botox, for example, whose recipe has stayed the same for decades) but it does mean that patients have more options with every passing year.

Your providers here at Evolution are so excited to say that we now offer EmSculpt Neo, the next generation of the classic and beloved EmSculpt device. You may know EmSculpt as Kim Kardashian’s favorite abdominal toner, or perhaps you’ve used it yourself to build muscle and contour your silhouette.

But what is the difference between EmSculpt and EmSculpt Neo, and which treatment is right for you?

EMSCULPT

EmSculpt builds muscle in the target area, giving your body a fit, toned look. The process works by directing high intensity focused electromagnetic technology (HIFEM) energy to the area, forcing the muscles to perform intense contractions that cannot be achieved through regular exercise.

Known as supramaximal contractions, these movements are the equivalent of doing 20,000 squats or crunches in one session. In response to these contractions, the muscle reconstructs itself, and fat in the area begins to melt away quickly. It’s proven, popular, and effective.

EMSCULPT NEO

EmSculpt Neo builds on the legacy of EmSculpt by simultaneously emitting both radio frequency and high intensity electromagnetic energies. The HIFEM prompts supramaximal contractions to improve your muscles while the RF energy warms the fat cells, causing them to die and melt away.

Plus, it can treat more patients than ever before — it’s approved for all patients with BMI lower than 35.

EMSCULPT vs. EMSCULPT NEO

The main difference between these two treatments is the inclusion of RF energy in EmSculpt Neo. This combination of HIFEM and RF was developed using a technological patent unique among body contouring devices.

EmSculpt is an excellent treatment for muscle definition. It reduces fat, tightens skin, and can increase muscle mass by up to 16%.

EmSculpt Neo can decrease fat in the treatment area by 30%, so if you have a little more fat you’d like to get rid of, this is the treatment for you. And best of all: the fat reduction is permanent and sustainable in the long-term!
