*You are unique! Based on your biochemistry, your genetics, and your lifestyle, you are different than anyone else. That is why at Evolution Body Transformation in Madison, Wisconsin we offer different programs so we can tailor the best plan to your lifestyle.

How do you know which one to choose?
*A number of individuals can be good candidates for a weight loss program, but not everyone makes a good candidate. There are a few things that you should consider when you’re thinking about embarking on the journey to lose weight through one of our programs. Of course, the first thing you should do if you are interested in losing weight quickly is to speak with your personal physician to determine whether or not you’re physically healthy enough to lose weight safely. But there are other considerations at work as well.

How Much Weight Do You Want to Lose?
*One of the first things you will be asked on your initial consultation with our doctor is how much weight you want to lose, and how quickly you want to do it. If you are only interested in losing a “vanity” 5 pounds, one of our detoxification programs might be the best choice. If you are looking more to lose inches or tighten and tone, some laser-like lipo sessions or a body wrap might be the best program.

*If, however, you’re a woman who wants to lose ten or more pounds, or a man who wants to lose more than 12-15 pounds, you are likely to be an excellent candidate for one of our weight loss programs. Our programs are not crash diets, like so many books promote — we are not only interested in helping you to lose the weight in the first place, but also helping you maintain your weight loss.

*Many of our successful patients have lost large amounts of weight — you can find out more about their stories elsewhere here , but we have had patients lose as much as 35 pounds in a 42 day cycle*. While you shouldn’t be daunted if you’re only interested in losing 10 or 15 pounds, if you have a much larger weight loss goal in mind, a customized, doctor-supervised weight loss program may be just what you need to finally get the pounds off.

Are You Generally Healthy?

It’s a fact of life that being overweight or obese brings along with it a number of health conditions and risks. Individuals who are more than 15-20 pounds overweight tend to have higher blood pressure and are at increased risk of heart disease, high cholesterol, and in some cases diabetes and other conditions. While there are some individuals with health conditions who should not participate in our weight loss programs due to the nature of those conditions, there are very few individuals who wouldn’t be good candidates. If your doctor has real concerns about your ability to healthfully follow a program, you should keep that in mind.


*Some of our patients who have successfully completed their programs and lost weight have had issues ranging from high blood pressure to type 2 diabetes. While you should listen to your doctor’s concerns, it is also a good idea to have our practitioners evaluate you before making up your mind one way or another — you may be a better match for the program than you think. If you have none of the health problems mentioned above, then you are very likely to be an excellent candidate for the program without any modifications or extra steps taken.
