Laser hair removal is one of our most popular services. I would like to share a little more information about how it works and things to consider when picking a provider.
We own a Cynosure Vectus Laser Hair Removal system, which I feel is hands-down the best on the market. This laser has two big benefits over the traditional machines on the market. The machine is equipped with a Skintel Reader which measures the pigment in your skin, so you do not over treat resulting in skin blistering or pigment issues; or under treat, resulting in less than optimum results.
The Vectus also has the largest treatment surface area. This is important for speed and comfort. For example, we can do a whole back in 7 minutes, versus a very common 45 minute appointment for other machines on the market.
The timing of the appointments is very important. The procedure will only work when the hair is on the growth phase. On the initial appointment, your hair will be in all different phases. After the initial session, you must come in when the hair is in that growth phase or you will get less than optimum results. A reputable clinic will stress you get on a good schedule.
One other thing to consider when finding a provider is Medical Direction. We have not had problems since our machine vastly diminishes the potential for human error, but there are less than reputable people using cheap equipment. If you are at one of those clinics and have a poor result without someone on site trained to handle the situation, well let’s just say I have heard my fair share of stories.
To sum up: Laser Hair Removal is very effective, works quickly (usually about 6 visits) and is often much more cost effective than other options when you take into account the repetitive cost of razors, creams or multiple waxing appointments.

Once you master this exercise, you can try some other abdominal exercises to having more impactful results.
